Refund & Cancellation Policy

This Refund & Cancellation Policy governs payments, cancellations, and refunds for piano lessons booked through this platform by Students and delivered by Teachers.

By using the Platform, both Students and Teachers agree to the terms below:

1. Role of the Platform

This platform facilitates payments between Students and Teachers. While we may assist in handling disputes, all lessons are provided by individual Teachers, and refund outcomes may depend on the circumstances of each case.

2. Student Cancellations

Students may cancel or reschedule a lesson if they are sick, need to attend school-related activities, or are on holiday, as long as Teachers are informed at least 7 days in advance.

If students do not show up for their scheduled lesson without prior notice, the lesson is considered forfeited and is generally non-refundable.

3. Teacher Cancellations

If a Teacher cancels a confirmed lesson, they will offer to reschedule.

Teachers who frequently cancel may be subject to reduced visibility, suspension, or removal from the platform.

4. Payment Processing

  • Refunds, when approved, will be processed through the original payment method
  • Processing times may vary depending on the payment provider
  • Any transaction or processing fees may be non-refundable unless required by law

5. Package Bookings (if applicable)

For bundled or prepaid lesson packages:

  • Refunds may be prorated based on lessons already used
  • Discounts applied to packages may be adjusted upon partial refunds

6. Platform Discretion

This platform reserves the right to:

  • Make final decisions on refund disputes
  • Issue partial refunds where appropriate
  • Withhold refunds in cases of abuse, fraud, or policy violations

7. Non-refundable Circumstances

Refunds will generally not be provided in cases including:

  • Student no-shows
  • Dissatisfaction without reasonable grounds
  • Failure to follow agreed scheduling or communication guidelines

8. Policy Changes

We may update this Refund & Cancellation Policy from time to time. Continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of any updates.
